Water Damage – Watertown Home

Water damage at this Watertown home was caused by a leaking water line within the wall cavity. The result was water pooling on the carpeting and damaged drywall where the water had leaked from. SERVPRO of Jefferson County would tear out the non-salvageable drywall to locate the source of the leak and facilitate repairs. We would lift the carpeting from its tack strips to allow air to be forced under the carpeting increasing the evaporation rate, which would lead to saving the carpeting.
